To help accomplish this mission an Industrial painter performs a wide variety of painting and coating processes on steel or aluminum products with protective prime and top-coat paints using industrial paint equipment. In addition, other responsibilities include preparing parts for paint and inspection. Works from drawing orders, instructions, routings to determine processes and procedures to be used. Including maintaining appropriate documentation required for Manufactuing and environmental purposes as well as maintain all equipment.

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in industrial painting, construction painting, or auto painting.

Responsibilities:

  • Ability to use industrial paint equipment.
  • Previous experience using High-Volume Low-Pressure paint guns.
  • Knowledge of paint pressure pot systems and/or powder coating systems.
  • Ability to read and understand paint Instructions/specifications to meet customer requirements.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints.
  • Maintain and clean paint equipment.
  • Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying appropriate primers
  • Mix and match paint to desired colors and textures
  • Apply paint using various methods such as brushes, rollers, or spray guns
  • Inspect painted surfaces for quality and touch up as needed
  • Operate and maintain painting equipment
  • Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment

Experience:

– Previous experience in industrial painting, auto body repair, or construction painting

– Proficiency in welding, machining, or mechanical knowledge is a plus

– Familiarity with different types of paints and application techniques

Pay: $20.00 – $26.00 per hour
