To help accomplish this mission, we are searching for a maintenance technician who performs maintenance and repairs on various systems and equipment within the assigned facility. Their duties include inspecting, diagnosing, and fixing malfunctions, doing preventative maintenance, maintaining inventory, and ensuring safety standards.

**Job Overview:**

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment and facilities to ensure smooth operations.

**Duties:**

  • Inspect and troubleshoot equipment to identify issues and recommend solutions
  • Conduct electrical repairs and installations
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
  • Utilize electrical knowledge including logic controllers, ohmmeters, and reading schematics
  • Maintain a clean and orderly working environment
  • Maintain and repair all equipment related to processing customer parts
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on production line
  • Repair and replace steam lines
  • Assemble and dissemble equipment
  • Procure maintenance equipment, supplies, tools, and factory supplies
  • Schedule and procure contract services related to maintenance functions as necessary
  • Assist in the development, execution, and completion of special projects
  • Communicate with the management team on ideas and needs in the facility
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in industrial environments
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using appropriate tools such as voltmeters and ohmmeters
  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operation of equipment
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times

**Requirements:**

– Proficiency in English to understand manuals and communicate effectively

– Ability to maintain a variety of equipment and systems

– Experience in electrical maintenance including troubleshooting logic controllers

– Familiarity with using ohmmeters and reading schematics

– Mechanical aptitude to work in various areas in the facility (including older electrical equipment, plumbing work, etc.)

– Function in varying temperatures/environment (Chemical)

– Proficiency in working with logic controllers and NEC codes

– Experience as a commercial or industrial electrician

– Familiarity with hand tools used in the trade

– Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems

– Lift 50lbs (standing, bending, stooping)
