To help accomplish this mission, we are searching for a Industrial Electrician/maintenance technician who performs maintenance and repairs on various systems and equipment within the assigned facility. Their duties include inspecting, diagnosing, and fixing malfunctions, doing preventative maintenance, maintaining inventory, and ensuring safety standards.

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial settings and possess knowledge of electrical systems and equipment.

**Responsibilities:**

  • Install, inspect, repair, and maintain electrical systems and equipment used in electroplating processes, including power distribution systems, control panels, transformers, rectifiers, and other related machinery
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical problems, such as equipment malfunctions, power failures, or circuit issues, to ensure minimal downtime and efficient operation of the electroplating facility.
  • Maintain accurate records of electrical maintenance activities, repairs, inspections, and upgrades performed in the facility, and generate reports as necessary for management or regulatory purposes.
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of electrical system upgrades, improvements, or expansions to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and safety of the electroplating facility.
  • Stay updated on advancements in electrical technology, equipment, and safety practices through training programs, workshops, or professional development opportunities to enhance job performance and skillset.
  • Ensure that electrical systems and equipment comply with environmental regulations and standards, especially regarding the safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials used in electroplating processes.
  • Maintain and repair all equipment related to processing customer parts.
  • Repair and replace steam lines.
  • Assemble and dissemble equipment.
  • Procure maintenance equipment, supplies, tools, and factory supplies.
  • Schedule and procure contract services related to maintenance functions as necessary.
  • Assist in the development, execution, and completion of special projects.
  • Communicate with the management team on ideas and needs in the facility.
  • Ensure buildings and grounds are in good working order and presentable.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on production line.

**Requirements:**

– Proven experience as an Industrial Electrician or similar role

– Knowledge of Ohmmeter, Voltmeter, logic controllers, and other electrical testing equipment

– Familiarity with construction sites and industrial environments

– Ability to read blueprints and technical diagrams

– Strong understanding of commercial and industrial electrician practices

– Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

– Certification as an Industrial Electrician is a plus
